Utilitarian Fashion for Fall

I’ve made a 180 turn from my not-so-practical early 20s style filled with platform heels and short skirts. Now, I’m in full Ghostbuster uniform and couldn’t be happier over it. Functionality is chic too! One Piece Outfit Style Throwing on just one article of clothing really simplifies my mornings–Just button up this one piece and go! There are more feminine, slinky versions of a jumpsuit, but this custodial jumpsuit suits me just right and love that I found it at Target. Target is killing it in the jumpsuit division. I love this v-neck knit version, striped wrap jumpsuit, and this basic black one that could be styled a million ways. A Backpack To Take On the Go I borrowed this Louis bag from Brooke and now I feel like I need one myself! I’ve always been a backpack fan because of its practicality. I could be hands-free and shove all kinds of shit in it. Obsessed with this mini Herschel Supply Co. one that comes in several colors (including CAMO!!!) and this vegan leather backpack I’ve linked to before! Easy Shoes for Fall Summit by White Mountain shoes like the one I’m wearing here (and have in virtually every color available) […]

4 Methods to Enhance Your Morning Routine

This post has been sponsored by Starbucks. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve always been the type to press snooze at least three times and roll out of bed with 15 minutes to get ready and out the door—a feat I easily completed every day for work. I used to solely work out at noon, but with a busier schedule and more client meetings, I don’t have the time to work out, shower and return to work quickly— so I’ve transitioned most of my workouts to early morning. I typically wake up around 6 a.m., head to the gym around 7 a.m. and get back around 8 a.m. Jumpstart Your Morning with the Right Fuel I love a cup of coffee with vanilla almond milk and something with a lot of […]

Three Simple and Price range-Pleasant Methods to Refresh Your Patio

My patio has been looking sad all summer long. It became unkempt with unwanted vines growing around the deck, dead plants and bland, boring furniture and a dull color scheme. I already had the patio furniture and umbrella, but with some accessories, I was able to refresh this space quickly and on the cheap. Read on for the after photos! Inject Some Color with Accessories By adding colorful pillows and decor, the space instantly looked brighter and more welcoming. Since the deck is brown and the furniture is beige and boring, I had a lot of opportunity to toss in whatever color I wanted. I was itching for a mix of red, pink and pops of teal. Change out the Rug My previous rug was so boring and I found the most beautiful red outdoor rug from Wayfair that I think pulled the whole outdoor space together. I layered the old rug and the new rug for a more bohemian vibe too. I just love the layered rug look. Add Greenery Adding plants is the easiest way to inject some life into any space. It’s why my house is filled with them. I love hardy, easy keeper plants like ferns […]
